Cylinder pendant features the Compass Star design on each side, in our Rust color finish. This light is wired with a single porcelain lamp-holder, black cord and ceiling cap. (Call for the optional White cord and cap.) Each pendant comes with 6 feet worth of chain and cord, please call to request more or less, extra charges may apply. Our Compass Star is a magnificent design for any home near the water, but can also add a compliment to homes that have triangular shapes or straight lines. The magnetic compass was not, at first, used for navigation, but for geomancy and fortune-telling by the Chin. The earliest Chinese magnetic compasses were possibly used to order and harmonize buildings in accordance with the geomantic principles of feng shui.
This pendant is meant for indoor, or covered use only. Our pendants hang from the ceiling by an SVC cord or chain and have a mounted cap covering the junction box. Pendants of this size will have an accompanying chain corresponding to the color of the cord. There are options of black or white ceiling caps and cords.
Due to the handcrafted nature of our lights, each sconce is truly unique and multi-color finishes may vary.

Recommended 75 watts maximum. Compatible with standard A-19 bulbs. Use an outdoor rated LED when mounting outside for energy efficiency. LED bulbs are now available up to 100 watt equivalency. 2700-3000K bulb will give you a warm light, which softens the illuminated area.
